Among several special models presented by Volkswagen at this year's Worthersee meet there was also the Volkswagen Golf GTI Reifnitz, which was designed by the company's apprentices. They took special care in re-designing the Golf GTI and also in improving its performance. The Volkswagen Golf GTI Reifnitz is powered by the standard 2.0 TSI engine, but it's power has been increased to 370 PS and 480 Nm of torque. to get so much more power out of the engine, VW's apprentices fitted the Volkswagen Golf GTI Reifnitz with a Stage III turbocharger system, a new intercooler and a RSC performance exhaust, all coming from APR.
In terms of aerodynamics, the Volkswagen Golf GTI Reifnitz features new front and rear bumpers, new side skirts, and a fresh new hood with two air vents. At the interior, the Volkswagen Golf GTI Reifnitz features sport bucket seats, a roll cage and a new shift lever.
