2015 Ford Mustang SVO Review

2015 Ford Mustang SVO. Rising fuel costs are something that is on the mind of almost every American on any given day. Whether you are deciding on a new car to buy or just filling up your daily driver, the exorbitant prices at the pump can leave you feeling worked and penniless. The last time this type of crisis swept the States, Ford was working on and producing a muscle car that would provide drivers with a rush of power while also being a little friendlier at the pump: the 2015 Ford Mustang SVO. And at a time when gas prices are on the rise yet again, Ford is going back to this oldie but goodie to get the same results.

Ford chairman, Bill Ford Jr., was giving a talk at Princeton when he was asked if the Ecoboost engine line would make its way to the Mustang. The answer was an easy yes, but no detailed information was given at the time. People thought it be a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine or possibly a 2-liter four-cylinder. Now we can confirm that an EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder will be offered for the Mustang line-up starting 2015.
The engine of 2015 Ford Mustang SVO will first be offered in the 2013 Ford Taurus in a 2.0 liter displacement, but it will grow to 2.3 liters for the Mustang and will have a different cylinder head configuration.
Next to this engine for 2015 Ford Mustang SVO, the next generation Mustang line-up will also include a 2.7-liter turbocharged V-6 that will be offered for both front-wheel and rear-wheel drive cars (Edge, Mustang, and Fusion sedan) and a 5.0-liter Coyote that might receive direct-injection technology, which could improve fuel economy. A turbocharged version of this engine was also taken under consideration, but don’t plan on seeing one in a Mustang model anytime soon.
